The first concept “Beautiful water has a beautiful spirit” was taken as the design concept for the entire Kyo-no-Mizu series. The beauty depicted in the center is expressed as a “water nymph” gracefully dancing on a clear waterside. Cherry blossoms (Sakura in Japanese) are falling behind her, coming from our company’s name. This adequate expression deserves the launch of our first product. Our corporate logo “SKR” is appeared on the folding fan held by the beauty.
This Ukiyo-e work gives us a glimpse of playfulness of Ishikawa.
